Server Separation DEC.07.2010
Almost a year ago today, the Titan Boo server was officially designated the “Brazilian” server.
This was done in an effort to recognize our growing community of Brazilian players and to create an environment where Brazilian players would be able to feel at home and chat in Portuguese in public channels.
The size of our Brazilian Community continues to grow and, going forward, we want to continue to do what is best for our Global Community.
This will be the first of many steps SG Interactive will be taking to ensure an excellent gaming experience for all Global Pangya players.
From 12/8, the viewable “Server List” will appear differently depending on where you are playing from:
If you are playing from Brazil, you will see the following Servers:
1. Titan Boo (Play)
2. Lolo (Market)
If you are playing from other Global Pangya supported regions, you will see the following Servers:
1. Black Papel (Play)
2. Quma (Market)
We understand that some of you have become a part of a truly “Global” community, and that some players have in-game friends from around the world. We sincerely extend our sincerest apology for any trouble this change will bring about, and our heart goes out to those who cannot play in the same game room with friends. Our intentions are not to separate online friends and family, but to create a community where players from all around the world can be comfortable.
It is our promise that the same level of Service, Content, Contests, Events, Services and rules in the Terms of Use Agreement will be provided to all SG Interactive communities.
At this time, all players accessing Global Pangya from the aforementioned locations will only be able to play in their dedicated servers (listed above).
Please understand that this decision was made to improve the gaming experience for both the Brazilian and non-Brazilian communities. As a community of gamers ourselves, we at SG Interactive understand that not being able to play in the same game room with friends and Guild-mates may not be as fun, but you will still be able to chat in-game with players on your Friend List and Guild List.
Again, this is just the first of many steps to create a comfortable gaming environment for as many players as possible. In this particular environment, players from Brazil will be able to speak Portuguese and interact within a community and culture that all Brazilian players can be comfortable in.
Though we do not support the Portuguese language yet, from all of us at SG Interactive: Olá, bem-vindo ao Global Pangya!
We know that many of you will have questions and the staff at SG Interactive will be there to address any questions and concerns that you may have.
